Man is manipulated into thinking his wife is unfaithful and abandons her, taking one of their two sons with him.

When his abusive father is about to be taken off life support, Joaquin avoids the hospital and escapes with his best friend, while his wife Lucia urges him to go say goodbye. Joaquin must decide whether to face the past or keep running.

When Martin is about to be expelled from some literature courses, an unexpected event gives a turn to his uncertain future as a writer. Taking advantage of the absence of his neighbor, a consecrated novelist who entrusts him with the care of his cat, Martín steals his identity and some pages of his latest novel, presented in the school as a result of his own work. As a result of this, the teacher congratulates him publicly and the girl he is in love begins to look at him with different eyes.

Here he meets the beautiful Claudina a sensual, strong willed chola, la "Misqui simi" ("The one with the sweet lips"). Uyuni radiates a strange magnetism, it is charged with a collective euphoria produced by the bewitching mineral. The lives of the characters enter a whirl of passion, ambition and frustration.

Javier is a doctor in his thirties, whose enthusiasm doesn't diminish despite working in a chaotic emergency room. One day he decides to go to the States, because Maria, his beautiful, sophisticated and not so happy wife, convinced him of looking for the American dream. Javier stays home to sell the house, the furniture and their car. That's how he meets Julia, a veterinarian who purchases his car. Now Javier is ready to leave.
